Qualification Details

·NQF Level: 4 (N4), 5 (N5), 6 (N6)
·Duration: 18 months of theoretical study (6 months per level) followed by an additional 18 months of practical workplace learning. Completing the full diploma requires a total of 36 months.

Assessment and Evaluation

·         Theory Component (first 18 months):
o    Formative assessments including an assignment, Test 1, and Test 2.
o    Summative external examination conducted by DHET at the end of each semester.

·         Practical Component (workplace learning):
o    Practical assessments and logbook evaluations during 18 months of         supervised work experience.

Mode of Delivery

SAAAC East London College supports part-time students with online learning options, although exams must be written in person at our accredited exam center.
