Executive Head: Mr Craig Miles
The South African Association of Accredited Colleges – East London (SAAAC-EL) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Craig Miles as Executive Head of the institution. Mr Miles brings over 32 years of distinguished leadership experience, spanning multiple sectors, with a strong emphasis on organisational development, strategic management, and people leadership. His career reflects a consistent track record of driving performance, building high-functioning teams, and delivering sustainable results in complex and evolving environments.
A seasoned executive, Mr Miles has extensive experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring diverse teams, enabling individuals and organisations to achieve operational excellence. His leadership approach is grounded in accountability, continuous improvement, and the development of human capital. Of particular value to SAAAC-EL is his in-depth understanding of the education and training landscape, including experience within tertiary and skills development institutions. This positions him well to support the institution’s mandate within the evolving regulatory framework governed by the Department of Higher Education and Training and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations.
