Qualification Details

·         Duration: 18 months of theoretical study (6 months per level) followed by an additional 18 months of workplace learning, totalling 36 months for the complete diploma.

Course Overview

The National Certificate: Management Assistant N4 – N6 is designed to provide students with the administrative and office management skills needed to support effective business operations. This SAQA-accredited program prepares students for a variety of roles in office administration by developing competencies in communication, organizational skills, and office technology.

Upon completing the National Certificate: Management Assistant N4 – N6, students will be able to:

·         Efficiently manage office administration and handle administrative duties.

·         Use office technology, such as computers and office software, to maintain organizational productivity.

Assessment and Evaluation

·         Theory Component (first 18 months):

o    Summative external exams conducted by DHET at the end of each semester.

·         Practical Component (workplace experience):

o    Practical evaluations through logbook entries and workplace assessments over an 18-month supervised training period.

Mode of Delivery

SAAAC East London College offers part-time online learning, with exams taken at our accredited exam center.
